CLAIMS


Manager, COBRA
 
The Manager, COBRA will be responsible for analysis, developing operational plans for deployment, and overseeing implementation and long-term management of COBRA as a stand alone product for HMA.  This position will be responsible for the development of marketing goals and objectives and will guide and manage the introduction of this product into new markets. The Manager, COBRA will be the corporate product and subject matter expert on COBRA, and will assist the Client Services and Sales Departments with presentations of this product during sales or renewal presentations. An additional responsibility is the day-to-day supervision and management of the COBRA unit and its employees.  This is a highly visible position within HMA, and will work closely with internal and external stakeholders, senior management, and HMA clients.

The Senior Claims Manager works closely with the Director of the Department to develop long and short term goals for the claims operations department, and with the Director is responsible for the long term strategic planning and overall management of the Claims Operations department. This role is a critical one within HMA.

Supervisor, Claims Analysts

The Supervisor, Claims Analysts will oversee the day-to-day operations of a dedicated unit of Claims Analysts to assure timely, accurate, consistent and cost-effective processing of claims.   The Supervisor, Claims Analysts must be able to manage multiple tasks at one time, make sound decisions and communicate issues and instructions clearly.  This position will a pivotal one within the Claims Operations department and routinely interacts with all levels of the company.

Claims Analyst
 
The Claims Analyst is responsible for processing of medical, vision, dental and STD claims, including coding and evaluation for program coverage with close attention paid to quality and quantity of work.  This work includes identification of claims requiring additional information, and the review and resolution of aged claims.  After training in HMA’s Bellevue or Everett office, the individual in this position will have the opportunity to work from home. To be considered for this position, you must live within 70 miles of either Bellevue or Everett, Washington.

The Account Analyst is primarily responsible for direct contact with our self-insured clients or their brokers, and in cooperation with the Account Manager is responsible for problem solving and issue resolution.  In addition, this position assists the Account Managers in daily activities, prepares renewal proposals and the monthly financial statements.  Excellent customer service skills are required and a desire to meet or exceed our client’s expectations will lead to success in this position.
