The Systems Coordinator is primarily responsible for the 1st tier help desk response for a 200 employee company.  This position troubleshoots and resolves problems for users in a timely and professional manner, assists with workstation and printer troubleshooting and maintenance, FTP set-up, Server maintenance, and user security and permissions administration.  This role is a central one within HMA and interacts regularly with all levels of staff throughout the company.
 
Essential Functions:

  • Primary 1st Tier Service Desk contact. Trouble-shoot and provide timely response to questions and requests.
  • Workstation and printer trouble-shooting and maintenance, including individual employee assistance.
  • Provide 1st Tier support for telecommunications systems, including VOIP and ACD system for onsite and remote workers. Escalate to vendor Technical Support appropriately.
  • Test, install and maintain software upgrades.
  • Remote Access set-up, trouble-shooting and maintenance.
  • New user set-up, security access and password resets, permission administration.
  • FTP maintenance and testing.
  • Update month-end-processing scripts and ensure they run accurately.
  • Perform basic maintenance and repair on servers.
  • Assist employee users with basic computer skills.
  • Ensure compliance with software licensing agreements.
  • Lead or assist in IT projects and key deliverables.
  • Document procedures, test results and user training appropriately.
Successful Candidate will have:

  • Superior customer service attitude.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience with network connectivity and workstation support. Prior experience in an IT Help Desk role is a plus.
  • Minimum 1 year experience managing Tier 1 telecommunication issues.
  • Proficient with MS Office suite and Excel.
  • Some experience with Active Directory preferred.
  • Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds.
  • Must be available from 8:30 am to 5:00 M-F.
